Ultra Light weight and Ultra Faded Shawl Collar Quilt Coat, blue and white.
I have kept the original edges on this one as I love the characterful fraying. I didn't want to cover it's history with a binding. Please look closely at the images to see all edges are frayed. I know this isn't for everyone, but I also know some of you will LOVE it!
Ultra light weight. Almost as if it is just a quilt top, but 2 layers of beautiful worn cotton are completely hand pieced and hand quilted throughout. Stunning work.
There are some areas of loose stitching, and a few small holes in the fabric. Please look closely at the photos again.
Classic slouchy drop shoulder shape, worn oversize and therefore with flexible sizing. Will fit a UK size 8-16. (I am 5'5" and a size 10-12)
Cuffs can be worn folded back.
2 patch pockets on front.
Dimensions - Underarm to underarm 61cm, Length (from neck seam to hem) 89cm.
