This Coat is made from a Vintage Dutch Blanket with fabulous design.
Dutch blankets (also called Holland Blankets) are distinctive in their feel. Super warm and thick, but actually quite light weight, so this coat feels extra comfortable to wear.
Design in Grey, Yellow, White. Trimmed with 100% cotton herringbone binding in light grey.
Original blanket stitching features on the hem and cuffs.
Cuffs can be turned back, or worn full length (if you have very long arms)
Duster Coat style with deep vintage inspired shawl collar and side slits. Can be worn with a belt, though belt pictured is not included.
There is some wear to the blanket as to be expected with vintage textiles (please look at the photos). None are structural defects however.
Unlined, and without pockets. (I didn't want to interrupt the elegant long line of the garment. Though there was also not enough material to include).
Size S/M. Will fit UK size 8-14
I am 5ft 5.5" and UK size 10/12
Body length from neck seam to hem - 132cm
Width underarm to underarm - 65cm
The drop shoulder fit is designed to be generous and oversize and allow for a multi-size fit.
